14-year-old Killed, Others Injured in Tragic Car Crash on Zigmont Road in East Bexar County
A teenager was killed in a tragic automobile crash on Zigmont Road and FM 1346 on Saturday morning.
The event happened shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Zigmont Road, south of FM 1346 in East Bexar County.
According to accounts, a 16-year-old driver faces charges after doing donuts in a vehicle that was later overturned.
According to the BCSO, when first responders got on the scene, six youths had been injured in the incident.
Authorities reported that a 14-year-old child was ejected from the vehicle and later died from his injuries. Four more people—two more 14-year-olds and two 17-year-olds—were hurt but are expected to recover.
The driver was apprehended and brought into Bexar County Adult Detention Center on charges of manslaughter and child injury.
