46 States Delay SNAP Benefits on August 28 Find Out When Food Stamps of Up to $1,751 Will Be Issued

FIFRA and TEXAS will send SNAP payments to EBT cards on August 28, 2024, according to the USDA. (They will be paid from September 1st to September 28th.) For now, this is the last Food Stamp payment until September.

Up to 46 states, though, won’t send money to SNAP EBT cards until September 1. All the money will be sent on January 1st by states like Alaska, Vermont, Rhode Island, and North Dakota. Some will send payments all through the month.

SNAP payouts will begin in 46 states on September 1.

  • Puerto Rico: from September 4 to 22
  • The DC area from September 1st to 10th
  • September 1 in the U.S. Virgin Islands

In the 48 neighboring states, the most a family of 8 can get from SNAP will be $1,751. It can be up to $973 if you are 4. Through the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, a person can get up to $291. The new COLA for 2025 will start on October 1, 2025.
