Someone hit and ran over a 76-year-old woman in Van Nuys on Wednesday, leaving her badly hurt. Police are asking for help from the public to find the person who did this.
Police say the accident happened around 9 p.m. when a dark-colored SUV going west on Saticoy Street from Van Nuys Boulevard hit the woman who was crossing Saticoy.
The car kept going down Saticoy instead of stopping to help. The Los Angeles Police Department shared video from the scene of the crime on Friday, which shows these moments.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department rushed the lady, who has not been named yet, to a nearby hospital.
