Someone in Dallas was arrested after reportedly hitting and killing a pedestrian while driving drunk and then driving to work with the victim’s severed arm in the passenger seat of his car.

The Dallas Police Department told PEOPLE that 31-year-old Juan Morgan Munoz was arrested and charged with felony DWI and a fatal accident. They also said that there might be extra fees.

News stations KDFW and WFAA say he was taken to the Dallas County jail after allegedly running away from the scene of the fatal accident.

Reports from KDFW say that Munoz did call 911 to let them know about the death, but he didn’t do so until more than 30 minutes after the body was found, around 12:30 a.m. on Saturday.

According to both news sources, the driver admitted to hitting the victim near Storey Lane and I-35E but kept going to work about a mile away.

According to the news sources, police came to Munoz’s job at Maaco Auto Body Shop after he made his call. He was said to have left a “hole in the front passenger windshield” and “an entire arm on the front passenger seat”; they also found blood.

A warrant for his arrest was allegedly obtained by local news stations. It said that he had “glassy/watery eyes, slurred speech, and a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage.”

According to WFAA, Munoz’s breathalyzer result was.179, which is more than twice the legal limit.

Police say Munoz told them he had “one Patron shot in the afternoon” and that he had been leaving a Hooters in Grand Prairie before going to work. According to WFAA, he failed all of the field sobriety tests that were given to him.

Before being taken to jail, Munoz allegedly admitted that he also had cocaine in his system, which is another report from WFAA.

The person who was killed on the sidewalk has not been named.
