Two people were caught trying to bring cellphones into a Texas jail.
Texas: When two individuals were discovered attempting to smuggle cell phones into a Texas prison, they were taken into custody and charged.
A section of hollowed-out wood was sent to the Polunsky Unit prison located in Polk County’s craft shop, according to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice.
Officers discovered that thirty cell phones and phone accessories were hidden inside the wood when they confiscated it.
After looking into the event, the Office of the Inspector General detained John Charles Godoy and Janette Pizana.
They were accused of bringing a prohibited item into a correctional facility and engaging in organised criminal activity.
