Driver in California Wearing a Jason Mask Was Arrested on Charges of Illegally Carrying an Assault Rifle Pd

When the driver of a car in Santa Rosa seemed to be wearing a “Jason” mask, the police officers got more than they expected.

The Santa Rosa Police Department said that just before 10 p.m. Saturday, an officer saw a gold Toyota Camry that didn’t have any headlights or taillights on.

Police say they found a “Jason” mask on the driver of the car after they pulled it over.

The cop told the police that the driver seemed “nervous” and that he saw that he was “sweating profusely.”

The Santa Rosa police officer then found an AR-15-style weapon in the back seat, partially hidden by a blanket.

Police said the gun, which wasn’t loaded, was an assault weapon that wasn’t registered and is illegal to own.

It was easy to arrest the driver, whose name was Adonay Efriem and he was from Santa Rosa.

For having an assault weapon, Efriem was taken to the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility and checked in.

Police say that the Santa Rosa Police Department Special Enforcement Team was created to deal with the rising number of people in the City of Santa Rosa who are caught with guns illegally and in gun-related crimes.

In a statement, the Santa Rosa Police Department said, “We want to make the City of Santa Rosa a safe place to live, work, and play.”
