A Woman is Said to Have Killed a Guy on a New York City Street Over Unpaid Sex: Sources
HARLEM, Manhattan — The NYPD and other sources say that a woman beat a man to death after he refused to pay her for doing a sex act on him on a Manhattan street on Tuesday.
Police and sources say that at 4:25 p.m., Sabrina Charles, 39, hit the man with a piece of wooden furniture in front of 19 Hancock Place, near 125th Street in Harlem. The guy has not been identified.
Sources say Charles hit the woman over the head several times after she did a sex act on him between two parked cars. Sources say Charles said the victim raped her before the murder. She was taken to the hospital to be checked out.
At the time of the crime, police say the woman and the victim, who knew each other, were doing drugs together.
Police said Charles, who lives in Manhattan, was arrested and charged with murder, criminal possession of a weapon, and criminal possession of stolen goods. Police say Charles has been arrested before for drug offenses and prostitution.
On Wednesday, she was supposed to be arraigned.
