Someone Tries to Take a Girl Through a Bathroom Window; Police Are Called
DC police say a stranger reached through the window and tried to pull a girl out of the bathroom while she was there.
The child’s mom called 911 from an apartment building at 700 East James Street at 10:46 p.m. on July 19. This is what the Kent Police Department said on Facebook.
Police say the stranger yelled at the child through an open window and grabbed her by it.
Police say he then “pulled her upwards as if to take her through the window.”
The police said he left when he couldn’t find her.
K9s and a chopper were used to look for the suspect, but they did not find him.
Now, the suspect is being asked by the police to check their security cameras and report any information they have on the person. The suspect is suspected of trying to kidnap someone. The cops said the man was “on the thinner side” and between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall. It is said that he was bald and had facial hair on that day. He was wearing a blue hoodie.
