A woman has admitted that she killed a guy she met online and threw his body into an oil field in Mississippi.
Sierra Inscoe, who is 22 years old, was given 40 years in jail last week after admitting to killing Carson Sistrunk, who was 24 years old, in 2022. A news release from the 15th Circuit Court District Attorney’s Office says she will have to serve 35 years in prison before she can be released on parole.
In a statement, District Attorney Hal Kittrell said that he valued the work that the police had done on the case.
“Because of their hard work, we were able to get a violent person off the streets and show that people who hurt others in Jefferson Davis County will face harsh consequences,” he said. “I know that Mr. Sistrunk can’t come back, but I really hope that this resolution brings some peace to his family.”
In Hattiesburg WDAM, an NBC/ABC station, said that on September 7, 2022, an oil worker saw tire tracks and found Sistrunk’s body. He died from being shot. Three days ago, Sistrunk was reported stolen from his home in Rankin County. His family said he was going to meet a woman he had met online, who turned out to be Inscoe. Inscoe was caught by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation a few days after the murder. He was driving Sistrunk’s Ford Raptor truck at the time.
She was first charged with theft of a motor car, and then they added the murder charge.
The Daily Beast wrote about Inscoe’s difficult life before he killed the man. Friends of Inscoe’s told the news source that he was known to steal people’s cars and take their money without their permission. The Daily Beast said she even faked becoming sick to get pity and live with someone for free and be spoiled.
It was also said that Inscoe had an account on OnlyFans. On her Facebook page, she acts like she’s from the country.
What she wrote was “Cornbread fed.” “Fish night is my first date.”
In his obituary, Sistrunk was called a “best friend to many.”
“Carson liked to hunt and fish.” His death notice said, “As soon as he was old enough, he would put on his holster and guns and ride his bike to hunt.” “March of every year was one of Carson’s best times.” He and his dad would get the barrels ready for May when they would catch fish by hand. He didn’t care about how cold the water was; he would jump in to get the barrels out.
