BALTIMORE —  Last year, a teen in Prince George’s County tried to kill a 14-year-old boy on a school bus. On Friday, Aisha Braveboy, who works for the Office of the State’s Attorney for Prince George’s County, revealed that the prison sentence was 25 years.

Lawyer for the State, Aisha Braveboy, said, “This sentence puts this case to rest and holds people responsible for what happened.” “Everyone in this community has the right to feel safe, work, and live their lives without worrying about getting hurt.” The things that happened on that school bus will always be painful for the driver, the helper, and the teen victim. This 25-year sentence for Mr. Holland makes sure that he will be held responsible for the horrible things he did.

In May 2023, Kaeden Holland, also known as “Baby K,” struck a student badly after getting on a school bus with two other teens.

Three times, once in the head and twice in the chest, the 16-year-old tried to kill the student to get his gun. But the gun didn’t work right, and the victim lived.

Police found guns on the bus, and Baby K was arrested by the U.S. Marshals a few weeks later.

Holland admitted earlier this year that he had tried to kill someone in the first degree and used a gun while committing a violent crime. Because he agreed to a plea deal, he will only serve 25 years of his 60-year term.

In court on Friday, video proof was shown that showed the whole thing that happened.

Two other teens who were involved in the brutal attack were caught and charged as adults. One of the teens, a 14-year-old girl, was charged with planning the attack.

Holland is going to be locked up in a prison for adults.
