WASHINGTON BOROUGH, NJ – In Washington Borough, a lady from Warren County was taken into custody on Tuesday, according to the police, for allegedly attacking a law enforcement officer.
It was reported that a disorderly person was present at Warren County Discount Liquors, which is situated at 260 West Washington Avenue, on September 24 at approximately 8:09 p.m., and the Washington Township Police Department responded to the scene.
Immediately after their arrival, law enforcement agents began an investigation that ultimately resulted in the arrest of a woman from Washington, New Jersey, who was 37 years old.
In addition to being charged with disorderly behavior and aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, she is also accused of breaching a municipal rule that prohibits the maintenance of a nuisance, according to the police.
According to the state police, the woman, whose identity has not been disclosed, was taken into custody and placed in the Warren County Jail.
