A Florida Guy Drove to Central New York to Pick Up a 13-year-old for Sex, but Was Met by Police Instead, Prosecutors Say
Syracuse, N.Y.- A Florida man drove to Clay expecting to pick up a 13-year-old girl to live with him and have sex with but was instead met by federal officials, according to prosecutors.
Michael Fegley Jr. noticed a post in which a 13-year-old girl claimed to have been thrown out of her New York home, according to court filings filed in the Northern District of New York.
Fegley contacted the girl, who was a government agent and agreed to drive from Florida to Syracuse to bring her back to Florida to live with him, according to authorities.
