Upcoming SSI Payments of $943 and $1,450—Find Out When to Expect Them in November!
Supplemental Security Income will shortly receive the monthly payment that the Social Security Administration (SSA) has authorized. SSI will be issued on two separate paydays in November.
As a result, all qualified grantees will receive two separate checks or two direct deposits in November. Actually, there will be no extra or bonus payments; it is just a scheduling modification that the SSA had to make.
Social Security has Scheduled SSI Payments on November 1 and 29
The first Supplemental Security Income payment will be made to your bank account on November 1, 2024. Of course, only those who applied, were approved, and remain eligible can receive it.
On November 29, there will be another opportunity to get funds from the Federal Supplemental Security Income Program. However, this will be your December payout, so preserve it for the next month and avoid overspending once you receive it.
This is good news for SSI recipients who also receive Social Security disability or retirement payments (SSDI). The retirement or SSDI payout will be issued on November 1 instead of November 3, 2024. Since the 3rd is a Sunday, it must be sent on a business day.
Maximum Amounts for SSI in November
None of the November payments will include the 2025 COLA hike. As a result, all recipients will have to wait longer to receive the necessary boost. The beneficiaries will not receive the increment until December 31, 2024.
As of January 2024, the maximum SSI amount is:
Category | Benefit Amount |
Individuals | $943 |
Married Couples | $1,415 |
Essential Person | $472 |
As you can see, married couples will receive the highest SSI payment in just eight days. Then, on November 29, you will receive a new payment for December. The new maximum amounts will take effect on December 31, 2024.
Category |
Benefit Amount After COLA
|
Individuals | $967 |
Married Couples | $1,450 |
Essential Person | $484 |
If you know someone who receives insufficient Social Security benefits and has no other source of income, assist them in applying for Supplemental Security Income.
