How much are average SSDI payments?
If you believe that you will not be eligible for an SSDI payment worth $4,018, you may get an average payment.
As a matter of fact, it is $1,542 as of October 2024. After the 2025 COLA increase, Social Security Disability Insurance payments will be about $38 higher.
Thus, the new SSDI average payment amount will be about $1,580. Of course, if you had a really lowe wage or worked for just a few years, your payment must be lower than average. If so, you may qualify for SSI too.
