A Road Rage Shooting Murdered a 17-Year-Old Motorist Who Was Visiting Friends in Galveston!
Police in Houston are looking for the person who shot and killed a 17-year-old and hurt someone else in downtown Houston. The killing may have been caused by road rage. 17-year-old Louise Wilson was going to Galveston to see friends when someone opened fire and killed her. Justice is what her family is hoping for.
Leo Amoling, her uncle, has known her sister since she was a baby. He talks about Wilson as someone who liked animals and thought about becoming a police officer. “She had a kind heart.” She was a wonderful and kind woman. She liked horses and animals. She liked her cats. “People in the Whitney area knew her,” Amoling said.
Whitney, Texas was where Louise lived. It’s a small town north of Waco. Louise went to school at home and finished high school in May. “When her parents were in the military, they lived abroad and she was born in Germany.” She’s lived in many places across the country.
She went to school at home. She finished school early. She was going to college and getting ready to earn her Associate degree. It was her big day coming up, and she didn’t deserve this at all, Amoling said. “Monday was the worst day, but the family is getting through it,” Amoling told Re’Chelle Turner of KPRC 2.
“Next week is going to be hard, especially since we have to bury her.” Houston Police say Louise moved in front of the gunman’s car to avoid a car that was slowing down. The person left in a car. Amoling said, “Justice will be done no matter who the coward was, whether it’s here on earth or in the next life.”
Police say that one of Wilson’s guests was shot in the. That person was taken to a nearby hospital and was said to be in safe condition. Someone else wasn’t hurt. Police are looking for a black car with four doors. Amoling said, “It was a senseless act, but if someone could do it in a moving car and shoot into another moving car, they knew what they were doing.
That’s why I want to know what’s going on in Houston.” Someone needs to come forward with knowledge because the Wilson family is in a lot of pain. “The crime problems in Houston, Dallas, and Austin have now reached my family and a girl who isn’t even from the area.”
“I just don’t know what else to say; she was trying to take a quick trip to Galveston,” Amoling said. Louise will be buried in Whitney, Texas, on Tuesday. Crime Stoppers said they would pay $5,000 for information that led to the arrest of the suspect. Call 713-222-TIPS.
