On Tuesday, a snowplow in the parking lot of an Aldi in Northwest Indiana seriously hurt an employee.

Merrillville police were called to the Aldi, which is situated at 10 W. Lincoln Hwy, just before 8:15 a.m., after receiving a complaint of a pedestrian-involved collision.

After being hit by a snowplow, a woman who worked at the business was discovered at the site with trauma. She was in critical condition when she was transported. Due to the incident, the store is currently closed.
