McCaysville, GA – A Georgia police officer is recovering after being brutally shot in the face by an aggressive suspect during a late-night suspicious vehicle call, authorities confirmed. The incident prompted a massive manhunt and widespread community concern.

Ramsey now faces charges of aggravated assault with intent to murder a police officer.
