CNS News–In a tragic incident, at least three individuals lost their lives in a shooting at a rental house in Katy, Texas. The Harris County Sheriff, Ed Gonzalez, confirmed that deputies responded to a shooting in the 4600 block of Russet Leaf Trace in Katy, where they discovered three deceased victims.
Multiple others were injured and transported to a nearby hospital. The shooting occurred shortly after 2 a.m., according to reports. At the time of the incident, there were more than a dozen individuals inside the house, and it remains unclear whether the shooter or shooters were guests or had crashed the gathering.
Law enforcement officials are actively investigating the incident to determine whether there was a single shooter or multiple perpetrators involved. As of now, the names of the victims have not been released, and it remains uncertain if anyone is in custody in connection with the shooting.
