A 3-Month-Old Girl Was Found Dead at A New York Shelter for Migrants. It Looks Like She Had a Heart Attack!
CNS News–The New York Police Department said that a 3-month-old girl who lived in a migrant shelter in Queens, New York, died of what looked like a heart attack. An NYPD officer said that a family member called them on Sunday afternoon to say that the girl had suddenly stopped breathing.
The baby was found on the ninth floor of the Queens County Inn and Suites in Long Island City by emergency workers. She was taken to Mount Sinai Queens, but she could not be revived. Sources said that the medical examiner will find out what caused the death.
On Sunday night, people from the examiner’s office were seen going into the hotel. Police told ABC7 that the death did not seem odd. “This is a tragedy that breaks my heart.” The city’s Department of Social Services told PIX11 in a statement, “Protecting our clients’ health and safety is our top priority.
