A Guy From Wisconsin Was Arrested After Police Allegedly Found Child Porn on His Electronics
JANESVILLE, Wis. – After a four-month investigation, police in Wisconsin arrested a 39-year-old man after a search request allegedly turned up many electronic devices with child pornography on them.
A new statement says that at around 5:30 a.m. Thursday, the Janesville Police Department’s SWAT Team carried out a search warrant in the 200 block of Rockport Road. Detectives say they’ve been looking into this case for about four months before the search warrant was issued.
K9 Handler Detective Winiarski used K9 Maui, an Electronic Storage Detection Dog, to help find gadgets in the house.
A search request was used to get a lot of electronics from the house, which led to the arrest of Brett Cochran, 39.
Cochran was taken to the Rock County Jail on five counts of having child pornography on him. His first court hearing is still pending.
This event is still being looked into, and no new information has been given.
