Police say a guy from San Francisco was arrested in Pittsburg on Sunday on suspicion of kidnapping.
Around 2:00 p.m., Brentwood Police were called to a call about a fight between a guy and a woman inside a car. The caller could only give cops part of the license plate, which helped them figure out what car it was.
In Contra Costa County and the greater Bay Area, a BOLO (Be On The Lookout) warning was sent out, and the car was found in Pittsburg.
James Llarena, who is 21 years old, was taken on suspicion of kidnapping and other crimes.
The woman who was hurt was taken to the hospital. The police think that Llarena and the woman knew each other.
