A Man Sentenced to Life in Prison for Murder in Alabama Has Now Been Sentenced in Wisconsin
Green Bay, Wisconsin — A Michigan man who is already serving a life term for murder in Alabama has been sentenced to life in prison for the killing of a man in Wisconsin.
Caleb Anderson, 25, was given his second life term on Monday in a Green Bay courthouse. He pled no contest last month to first-degree intentional homicide in Patrick Ernst’s stabbing killing, according to WLUK-TV.
According to authorities, Anderson raped an 18-year-old lady as she was jogging in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula in 2022. He then proceeded to Wisconsin, where Ernst, 65, was slain in his Green Bay residence. Anderson allegedly took Ernst’s automobile before heading to Alabama, where Dwight Dixon was killed.
According to court filings, Anderson met Ernst through a smartphone app that allows men to meet other men for sex.
