A Prisoner Who Fled and Has Ties to New Hampshire, Massachusetts and California is Being Sought Across the Country.
Concord, New Hampshire – The US Marshals Service, the District of New Hampshire Joint Fugitive Task Force, and the Belknap County Sheriff’s Office need help from the public to find a Belknap County prisoner who escaped early Sunday morning from the Concord Hospital – Laconia.
Anthony Clark, 41, was being held at the Belknap County Department of Corrections until his hearing for several domestic violence crimes, such as strangulation, simple assault, stalking, and tampering with a witness. Clark needed medical care while he was in jail, so he was taken to the hospital. Clark had an ankle monitor put on, but it was found later that day outside the hospital grounds. New charges of escape, criminal damage, and breach of bail have led to arrest warrants being sent all over the country from Belknap County Superior Court.
Clark is intentionally avoiding police, but he is known to have friends and family in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and California. Victims of Clark’s violence worry that he will get away, which could be dangerous. More charges may be coming for his friends and family who helped him stay free.
Clark is a guy of Hispanic descent who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 230 pounds. His eyes are brown, his hair is short, and he has tattoos on both his upper and lower arms. On his right hand, above the thumb, there is an emoji-style tattoo.
If you see Clark or someone who looks like him, please do not approach him or try to follow him because he is dangerous.
