Last week, the wife of a Texas lawyer killed her husband and then herself in their $1.6 million home outside of Shavano Park, a neighborhood of San Antonio.
Jerry Hernandez (61 years old) and Sonia Hernandez (52 years old) were found dead in their five-bathroom, four-bedroom home on August 21.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office told Fox News Digital that its records showed that Jerry Hernandez died of murder and Sonia Hernandez died of suicide.
Before 8 a.m. that morning, police were called to the house because gunshots were heard in the area. When they went into the master bedroom, they saw a man and a woman lying dead on a bed, both of them shot.
Police told Fox News Digital that they are looking into what happened because it seems like a murder-suicide.
Their 25-year-old daughter is the only person left alive.
Hernandez’s online work profile says that he was a lawyer for more than 30 years. In 2017, S.A. Scene Magazine named him a Top Personal Injury Lawyer.

Police said they are not looking for anyone else who may have been involved in the incident. Authorities have not shared any more information about the deaths.
