A Woman Was Thrown From Her Pontoon Boat and Killed When She Was Hit by a Motor in a Florida River
IN OCKLAWAHA, FLA. The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says a pontoon boat propeller killed a woman on Sunday in Marion County.
The accident took place on the Ocklawaha River near Nelson’s Fish Camp at 1:30 p.m.
The FWC said that there were eight people on the floating boat when the woman fell off. Animal control officials in Florida say she was hurt by the boat’s propeller and was declared dead on the way to the hospital.

There are still no other facts available, and an investigation is still going on.
The FWC said at first that the event took place in Lake County, but later clarified that it took place in Marion County. The FWC said that Umatilla, which is in Lake County, was the closest town.
