Alleged Shoplifters in Texas Shot and Killed a Store Worker Over a Bag of Chips!
CNS News–In a harrowing incident at a Sunoco gas station shop in Humble, Texas, a 42-year-old store clerk was fatally shot after pursuing two alleged shoplifters. The tragic event unfolded on a Friday morning when the employee, who had been working at the store for only three to four months, chased the culprits who had stolen a bag of chips.
According to Humble Assistant Police Chief Dan Zientek, the store manager’s decision to follow the suspects in his car led to a fatal confrontation, with one of the suspects opening fire. Surveillance footage from the store showed two individuals in dark clothing entering the premises, with one concealing a bag of chips in his pants.
Despite the store clerk’s attempt to verbally confront them, the situation escalated rapidly once he followed them in his car. The assailants responded with gunfire, striking the clerk, who tragically succumbed to his injuries while still seated in his vehicle.
