An Army Soldier is Being Held After Mischa Johnson, Who is Pregnant, Goes Missing in Hawaii
A soldier in the U.S. Army in Hawaii has been arrested weeks after his six-month-pregnant wife went missing at the beginning of the month.
“The person who is missing in the Mischa Johnson case has been taken into military custody.” This is what the Army’s 25th Infantry Division said on Monday: “Private First Class Dewayne Arthur Johnson II, Mischa Johnson’s husband, is currently in military pretrial confinement in Hawaii.”
The Army wouldn’t say if Dewayne Johnson had been charged yet under the Uniformed Code of Military Justice.
Mischa Johnson was last seen in her home at Schofield Barracks, O’ahu, Hawaii, on July 31. She was 19 years old and six months pregnant at the time of her absence. The Army’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID) was told about her disappearance the next day. Army CID has been working with local police to look into the disappearance, and they are offering a $10,000 prize for information that leads to the case’s resolution.
Mischa Johnson is a Filipino woman who is 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs 170 pounds, and has a big dragon tattoo on her back, according to the CID.
In November 2022, Dewayne Johnson from Frederick, Maryland, joined the Army and went to One Station Unit Training at Fort Moore, Georgia. He is a Cavalry Scout for the 25th Infantry Division and has been there since June 2023.
According to a statement from the Army, their main goal is still to find Mischa, help her family, and make sure everyone working at US Army Hawaii bases is safe and secure. “This is still being looked into, and we don’t have any more information at this time.” We want anyone who knows anything about Mischa Johnson to get in touch with CID.
