Arizona Leaders Condemn Attempted Assassination of Donald Trump at Florida Golf Club

Arizona authorities are reacting to another assassination attempt on Donald Trump on Sunday.

The Secret Service reportedly opened fire on a guy pointing an AK-style rifle at Trump’s golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida, while he was on the course, according to law enforcement officials.

The golf course was closed while the former president was playing, and Secret Service agents were a few holes ahead of him when they observed someone with a gun.

Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw stated that US Secret Service agents fired at a guy pointing an AK-style rifle with a scope while Trump was on the course. According to Bradshaw, the gunman had two backpacks hanging on a fence and a GoPro camera, and he was around 400 to 500 yards away from Trump, hidden in foliage while the former president played golf on an adjacent course.

The suspect allegedly dropped the firearm and fled in an SUV, where they were apprehended in a neighboring county.

Officials stated an AK-style rifle was discovered near the Trump International Golf Club West Palm Beach. There were no injuries recorded.

Trump wrote in an email: “There were gunshots in my vicinity, but before rumors start spiraling out of control, I wanted you to hear this first: I AM SAFE AND WELL!”

“Nothing can slow me down. “I will NEVER SURRENDER,” the former president declared.

This comes around two months after Trump was wounded during an assassination attempt at a rally in Pennsylvania when a bullet grazed his ear.
