Arizona Man Sentenced to Prison for Involvement in Fentanyl Trafficking Conspiracy
Phoenix – An Arizona man has been sentenced to more than eight years in jail for his role in a nationwide fentanyl trafficking operation that lasted two years.
Colby Barrow, 30, of Peoria, was among dozens arrested in March 2024 as part of a large FBI narcotics operation known as “Operation Lake Effect.” Barrow was part of an Arizona-based drug organization that distributed fentanyl and other substances to dealers in other states. He was captured on a government wiretap collecting massive quantities of fentanyl.
After finishing his 102-month prison sentence, Barrow will be released under supervision for four years.
