REDLANDS, Calif. — In southern California, police are looking for a couple who was last seen leaving their home on a naked ranch over the weekend.
A concerned friend called the Redlands Police Department on Sunday to say that Stephanie Menard, 73, and her husband Daniel, 79, were missing.
Police said that the couple’s unlocked car was found near their home late Sunday night. Both of their phones and Stephanie Menard’s bag were still inside the couple’s home.
A small Shih Tzu named Cuddles, the couple’s pet dog, is also missing, the newspaper said.
Based on what the police said, Daniel Menard has both diabetes and dementia. His wife and he were last seen Saturday morning close to their home.
KABC-TV reported that the Menards live at the Olive Dell Ranch nudist lodge, which is about 97 kilometers (60 miles) east of Los Angeles. Wilkerson is a friend of the couple.
He said, “They’re nice people.” “They don’t have a mean bone in their body, which makes this very strange.”
