Burgerville Opens First New Restaurant in Almost a Decade

Even though there isn’t an In-N-Out nearby, some Pacific Northwesterners are thrilled to learn that Burgerville will be establishing its first new location in eight years in Wilsonville next month.

And that’s not all. This fall, the burger chain from Vancouver also intends to add new stores in Salem and Keizer.

“Bringing our delicious burgers, shakes, and fries to more Pacific Northwest communities has been our goal since I joined Burgerville two years ago,” Burgerville CEO Ed Casey said in a statement. With Salem and Keizer just behind us and a number of other places in the works, we are thrilled to bring Wilsonville to life.

Burgerville stated in a press release earlier this year that it has plans to open more new locations north and east of its Centralia, Washington, location. However, a spokeswoman for the company stated that Salem and Keizer are currently the only two new locations confirmed.

The expansion comes after a partnership with a group of new investors was revealed earlier this year.

The company stated that the new ownership group is primarily made up of local investors, including the Mears family, the chain’s original owners and founders, CEO Casey, who is still in his position as CEO, and former Dutch Bros CEO Joth Ricci, who has been promoted to executive chairman. However, the company declined to provide specifics about the new ownership group.

Regarding the new ownership group at the time, Casey stated that no one individual or organization had a significant, controlling stake.

Wilsonville will be located at the intersection of Oregon and Washington at Burgerville’s 38th.
