Last year, Ventura sued Combs, saying that she had raped her and abused her physically over and over again for years. Ventura said that the surveillance video caught her trying to get away from Combs after he hit her in the face and gave her a black eye. Ventura further said that Combs paid InterContinental $50,000 to keep the security video and stop it from being released.
Ventura and Combs reached an undisclosed settlement the day after Ventura filed the case.

Homeland Security agents searched Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Miami in March of this year as part of a federal probe into sex trafficking. Several civil cases have also been filed against him, accusing him of sexual abuse.
