Charges of Trafficking and Sexual Activity With a Minor Have Been Brought Against a Man From Charleston
CHARLESTON, S.C. — A man from Charleston has been taken into custody and accused of trafficking individuals as well as engaging in sexual activity with a juvenile.
Mark Alan Wilson was taken into custody on August 15, according to a report filed by the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office by the police department. In addition to being charged with one crime of trafficking in person a victim under the age of 18, Wilson is also charged with one count of criminal sexual conduct with a minor in the third degree.
Wilson was taken into custody by the CCSO following the execution of a search warrant inside his residence located in the 700 block of Longbranch Drive.
It was at the Sheriff Al Cannon Detention Center when he was taken into custody.
