OAK BROOK, Ill. — Two women from Chicago who are currently being held in jail for shoplifting are now being accused of stealing again at a beauty store in the west suburbs, this time taking more than $1,150 worth of goods.

On Thursday, August 29, Reneashia McDowell, 31, and Shania Jacobs, 28, both of Oak Brook, left the Ulta Beauty store at 2155 W. 22nd Street without paying for anything. They are now being charged with criminal burglary and retail theft.

The two were nabbed in Oak Brook, and police say they found perfumes worth about $1,168.

On August 9, weeks before, prosecutors say the two left a JC Penney store at 175 Yorktown Mall Drive with a jewelry box holding a necklace and clothes for children. Both women were caught and charged with felony burglary and retail theft. They were later freed with conditions.

A judge did not let both women go before their trials. They have to go back to court at the end of September.
