CNS NewsIn a daring and reckless act, a Texas man faced several charges after posting a video of himself speeding through Colorado on his motorcycle. The video, titled “From Colorado Springs to Denver in 20 Minutes,” has since been removed from YouTube but is now in the hands of Colorado prosecutors.

The individual in question, identified as Rendon Dietzmann, a 32-year-old from Texas, is now facing a slew of charges, including reckless endangerment. The viral video captured Dietzmann’s high-speed journey on Interstate 25, stretching from Colorado Springs to Denver. In the footage, he can be seen reaching astonishing speeds of over 170 mph, a dangerous act that put not only his life but also the lives of others on the road at risk.

Dietzmann’s arrest warrant lists a total of seven charges, painting a grim picture of his reckless behavior on the road. These charges include menacing, engaging in a speed contest, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, speeding 40 mph over the prima facie limit, engaging in an exhibition of speed, and operating a vehicle with no number plates attached.

The inclusion of the last charge is particularly intriguing. Dietzmann’s motorcycle lacked number plates, likely an attempt to make it harder for authorities to track him down. However, his decision to upload the video of his high-speed escapade on his YouTube channel ultimately led investigators back to him.

Colorado State Patrol worked in conjunction with Dallas investigators to trace the incriminating video to Dietzmann, leading to the issuance of the arrest warrant. Colorado State Patrol sergeant Troy Kessler emphasized that “illegal and reckless driving behavior will not be tolerated in Colorado,” sending a stern message about the consequences of such actions.

Dietzmann, known as Gixxer Brah on YouTube and Instagram, has a history of posting videos showcasing bike stunts and high-speed rides. While his riding skills may be impressive, the decision to travel at such dangerous speeds on a crowded interstate and then publicly share the illegal activity online is undeniably unwise.

As the legal proceedings unfold, this case serves as a stark reminder that reckless behavior on the road, especially when captured and shared on social media, can have severe consequences. Dietzmann’s actions highlight the importance of responsible and safe driving practices to ensure the safety of all road users.
