For each person in 2021, the FBI records 747 serious crimes and 3,336 property crimes. It costs about $138,000 to live in Yeadon, and the average family makes $48,420 a year.
McKees Rocks
The town of McKees Rocks, also known as “The Rocks,” is in Allegheny County. It’s thought to be the safest place to live in Pennsylvania. 5,920 people are living there, and there are 6,409 crimes for every 100,000 people. This is 173% more than the national average. In McKees Rocks in 2022, there were 106 serious crimes and 262 property crimes. Given how small the city is, these numbers are pretty high.
Darby
This is one of Pennsylvania’s most dangerous towns. There were 152 killings in 2021, and 10,667 people are living there. There are also a lot of property crimes; 4,625 happen for every 100,000 people. You have a 1 in 22 chance of being a victim of any crime if you live in Darby. People often make less than $35,000 a year, and a lot of them live in poverty.
