Dozens of Texas ISDs Improve Safety Because of a Threat of a Mass Bomb!
Due to a mass bomb threat that seems to have come from Russia, many school systems across the Lone Star State are stepping up their security today. A person calling Igor Ignatovic says that bombs will go off at several Texas schools at 1 p.m., according to a message from Hudson ISD sent through the ParentSquare app.
He then says that he is part of a Russian terrorist group and that he and his friends have set off bombs in several schools. The statement says that the large-scale terrorist attack is in reaction to the fact that Ukraine is still getting help in its war against Russia.
Parents were told about the threat by Hudson School Superintendent Donny Webb because the school system wanted to be open about it. To figure out how real the threat is, school security officers are searching the property and talking to other school districts and police departments.
A story says that the same threatening message was sent to many school districts in and around Waco. Their story said that the threat was sent to at least 50 other schools across the state. Additionally, these schools are putting in place extra safety measures. However, most people are sure that this is all a publicity stunt.
Donny Webb from Hudson went on to say in his statement that these kinds of threats may continue, which is sad. “America will continue to see a rise in email threats designed to panic our society by foreign individuals/groups.”
