CNS News–In a significant operation against human trafficking, authorities in Georgia have successfully dismantled a ring, resulting in the arrest of 17 individuals. The operation, dubbed “Operation Not For Sale,” was an online undercover initiative focusing on sex traffickers and buyers within Bryan County.
Orchestrated by the Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) in collaboration with several law enforcement agencies, including the Georgia Department of Public Safety’s Georgia Motor Carrier Compliance Division, the Bryan County Sheriff’s Office, and the Richmond Hills Police Department, the operation aimed to address and curb the menace of human trafficking in the region.
During the operation, law enforcement officials assisted ten s*x workers, offering them necessary resources and support as part of the broader effort to protect victims of trafficking. The individuals arrested in the operation face various charges, highlighting the diverse nature of the trafficking network.

The GBI’s Human Exploitation and Trafficking Unit (HEAT) played a crucial role in the operation, emphasizing the agency’s commitment to combating human trafficking.
