SNAP payday eligibility and amounts

Depending on your state, you may need to check a different thing to determine when your payment is due. For example, if you live in Wisconsin, you’ll need your Social Security number. Simply check the eight digits of your SSN.

If it is 6, you will receive SNAP benefits on September 11. September 12 will be for people whose eight-digit SSN is 7. If it’s 8 or 9, the money will arrive on the 14th or 15th, respectively. Visit the official USDA site for further details in your State: https://www.fns.usda.gov/snap/monthly-issuance-schedule.

Before the 2025 COLA hike, a single person may receive up to $291. A household with only two individuals can earn up to $535, while a family of eight can receive up to $1,751.
