The tragic event occurred on December 27, 2023, just as the family was preparing for a holiday cruise.
The Crumrine family, including Jennifer and her two daughters, Kasey and Savannah, had been experiencing heightened anxiety due to Connor’s unsettling behavior. This anxiety peaked on Christmas night when Connor disturbingly advised one of his sisters to “sleep face down” to avoid damnation.
His actions escalated to making threatening gestures, intensifying the family’s fear for their safety. On the day of the incident, as the family was getting ready for their cruise, a dramatic turn of events unfolded.
Jennifer decided against going on the cruise, opting instead to take Connor to a mental health facility. It was during this time that Connor attacked his mother, leading to her tragic death. The attack was so sudden that Kasey, while on the phone arranging for mental health care, heard her mother’s desperate cries for help.
