Former Alabama Defensive Back Was Sadly Killed in a Car Accident
After getting out of his car to check on a driver he had just crashed into, Terrance Howard was sadly hit by a passing car and killed. Howard was a former defensive back for Alabama.
He was 19 years old.
Howard went to high school at Ridge Point in Missouri City, Texas. He played football as a walk-on for Alabama from 2023–2024 before he used the NCAA transfer site in April and decided to continue his career at North Carolina Central University.
The former Alabama defensive back is said to have experienced brain damage and was put on life support Thursday when the incident happened.
Terrion Arnold, a cornerback for the Detroit Lions, wrote on Howard’s Instagram story, “You fought hard, soldier,” to show his sadness. Arnold was Howard’s teammate at Alabama. I can’t believe they would treat you that way, bro. “Rest in peace.”
Howard’s father told the Houston news station KHOU11 that Nick Saban, who used to be the head coach of Alabama, also called out to the Howard family when he heard about Howard’s serious injury.
