Guy From Michigan is Accused of Killing His 95-year-old Mother by Beating Her
Authorities say a 60-year-old man from Michigan killed his 95-year-old mother by beating her. He has been charged with murder.
For the death of his mother, Clara Miko, John Miko was charged with first-degree murder, first-degree abuse of a vulnerable adult, and attack by strangulation.
Around midnight on July 27, Clara Miko called 911 to say that her son had been hitting her and threatening to kill her.
When the police got to the woman’s home in Denton Township, they saw her lying on the floor of her garage apartment. The sheriff’s office said she was badly hurt and couldn’t move.
It was talked over with the victim before she was taken to a nearby hospital. Later that day, Clara Miko died from her wounds.
John Miko was found at the main house. He was reportedly drunk and not cooperating with the officers.
Investigators also found out that John Miko was still on probation for assaulting a family member in the past.
He was caught and taken to the county jail, where he is still being held on a $100,000,000 bond.
