H-E-B Curbside Order Worth $1,000 Stolen from Texas Mother!
CNS News–An unidentified individual picked up a mother’s H-E-B Curbside order from her Texas home, leaving her to question if someone accessed her SNAP benefits account. The order was worth over $1,000. A single mother of five from Corpus Christi named Jessica Reyna reportedly made an order for 180 products through H-E-B Curbside in early January.
She worked a full-time job and took night school, so she had to schedule an order for January 5 at 2 p.m., even though she rarely utilizes curbside. Her order, which was valued at $1,044.29 in total, was picked up while she was en route to H-E-B, according to a text message she received. Reyna spoke with KRIS 6.
Despite not following H-E-B’s rules and sending a text to the number shown on the curbside sign, she inquired about the verification process for her pickup order when she arrived at the shop. He had specific details that were similar to yours, according to what [H-E-B] mentioned.
She informed KRIS 6 that the individual had her first name and an image of an order number, but not the entire content. Plus, he utterly mispronounced my last name. They still gave him my order even though he gave the curbside attendant two different last names.
I have several talking points and questions.

So she could start the process of reporting the theft to the Corpus Christi Police Department, she waited at the store. Reyna informed KRIS 6 that the individual seen grabbing the groceries was identified by the police after reviewing CCTV footage. Reyna reported the theft to the police, according to a CCPD representative who talked with MySA.
Since the theft concerns Reyna’s SNAP payments, the department also claimed that she is collaborating with the HHS on the matter. After the incident occurred on January 8, Reyna notified the San Antonio headquarters of H-E-B of what had transpired. The grocery store collaborated with Reyna to find a solution, according to an H-E-B representative who talked with MySA.
Reyna informed KRIS 6 that she got her curbside order on Friday, January 12. Reyna told the news that she has no idea how the person who took her order got her full name, address, and social security number, but she is worried it could be due to a hack of her SNAP benefits account.
She contacted the Department of Health and Human Services, who informed her that she could have to place another large purchase through curbside for them to “track down who’s stealing” from her. Scammers are getting craftier with their SNAP benefits skimming and cloning schemes, according to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
