A father from Michigan died in a car accident on Sunday, June 30. His three kids and wife were hurt.

The sedan that Dan Savage was driving with four family members was hit by a pickup truck at the corner of 136th Avenue and 58th Street in Fillmore Township. This was reported by WWMT, WOOD-TV, and The Holland Sentinel.

The news sources say that a preliminary investigation by the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office found that Savage, who was driving west, did not stop.

At the scene, they declared him dead. His wife and sons were hurt and taken to the hospital. According to the news sources, the pickup truck driver was not hurt. THE PEOPLE have asked the Allegan County Sheriff’s Office for something to say.

According to MLive.com, Savage has three sons: Mason, 14, Parker, 11, and Levi, 9.

They just got back from a trip to Disney World with their family a few weeks ago, which is where this happened. “Family was everything to them,” Tina Josten, Savage’s aunt, told the news crew.

Savage’s cousin Joe Josten set up a GoFundMe page for the family and said that Mason and Parker both “sustained devastating head injuries.” Mason’s outlook was called “poor,” and Parker’s was called “unclear.”

Joe says that Savage’s wife, Chelsea, and Levi’s injuries are “less severe” but still need medication care.

“This is an incredibly shocking and heartbreaking tragedy for everyone involved,” Joe said. “We are seeking donations to support the family during these uncertain times, helping with funeral costs, medical expenses, and any ongoing care the children are going to need.”

This is what Joe had to say about the campaign on July 2: “Chelsea and Levi have both been able to talk to family but are very banged up.”

“Parker has a traumatic brain injury, and the outlook for him is still not clear.” “Unfortunately, Mason’s outlook is still not good,” the report said.

As of this writing, almost 350 people have donated to the cause, which has raised almost $19,000.
