Following the discovery of a woman’s body in Pomona on Friday, the police have opened an investigation into the suspected homicide.
According to a statement released by the Pomona Police Department, they were sent to the 1300 block of W. Mission Boulevard a little before 7 a.m. after receiving calls indicating that a woman was lying down in the vicinity of the location.
Upon arrival, the officers discovered that the woman was unresponsive at the scene. She was pronounced dead by the paramedics who arrived at the scene.
However, the victim has not been identified as of yet.
“The motive for the crime is not yet known,” as stated by the authorities.
The information that they provided regarding a suspected suspect in the incident was completely lacking.
