Indiana Man Sentenced for Role in Cocaine and Heroin Distribution Conspiracy

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — The U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Indiana said that a man pleaded guilty to breaking federal drug rules in federal court.

Lamar Johnson, who is 42 years old, admitted the crime in front of Senior US District Judge Kim Gibson. Documents shown in court show that Johnson worked with others from August 2018 to March 2023 to sell and have the plan to sell 500 grams or more of cocaine, as well as a small amount of both heroin and crack cocaine.

Johnson pleaded guilty and was given a sentence of 60 months in jail. After that, he will be released under supervision for four years. The government’s lawyer in this case is Arnold Bernard Jr., who is an assistant U.S. attorney.
