A man from Kansas City has been charged with misdemeanor child abuse because he is responsible for the major physical injuries that were sustained by a three-month-old girl.
According to the allegations, Johnny Christopher Bonacorso, who is 29 years old, harmed the infant while she was in his care on Sunday. The infant is still alive, but it appears that they have suffered severe injuries, according to the court papers.
The court documents indicate that Bonacorso entered a not-guilty plea on Monday in response to the charge of child abuse.
The infant and her mother are not allowed to have any contact with Bonacorso, who has been prohibited from doing so.
He is presently being held in the Clay County Detention Center on a bond of fifty thousand dollars, and his next scheduled court appearance is scheduled for fifteen minutes after the hour on October 15th.
