CheapNailsalonsnearmeAs the holiday season envelops us in its warm embrace, a burning question arises in the hearts of many: What is the favorite Christmas movie among the festive flick aficionados? In Kansas, this question has found a data-driven answer, thanks to an insightful analysis conducted by researchers at CenturyLinkQuote. In an era where our choices often reflect our digital footprints, CenturyLinkQuote’s team delved into online search behaviors to unravel the cinematic preferences of various states.

Their methodology was thorough, involving a comprehensive list of 50 Christmas movies, curated based on IMDb and Rotten Tomatoes scores and supplemented by best-of lists from notable sources like Screen Rant and Time Out.  The final analysis was focused on the top 18 films that garnered the highest search volume over the past year. The nationwide winner for 2023 emerged as the beloved “Elf,” starring Will Ferrell.

This comedy has become a staple in the holiday movie genre, capturing hearts across seven states, including Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Pennsylvania. Its charm and humor resonate with audiences, making it a go-to choice for festive cheer. In Kansas, however, the preferences skewed differently.

The analysis revealed a diverse range of Christmas movies, with “Elf” being a strong contender but not the sole favorite. The study noted a tie in popularity among “Four Christmases,” “Love Actually,” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” each claiming the top spot in five states.

Additionally, other Christmas classics like “Die Hard,” “A Christmas Carol,” “Serendipity,” and “The Polar Express” also found their place in the hearts of various states.
