Man Was Given Four Years in Prison for Bringing Cocaine From Texas to Virginia
RICHMOND, Va. — Four years and four months in federal jail for a 30-year-old man who brought more than 15 kilograms of cocaine from Texas to the Richmond area.
As per the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Jesus Alejandro Ibarra-Morales, 30, came from Mexico to Brownsville, Texas in November 2023 and bought two car dollies. The axles of these dollies were filled with more than 15 kilos of cocaine.
A load of drugs was on its way to Virginia, and police were told about it. DOJ says that the cocaine was found inside the car Ibarra-Morales was driving in the Richmond area when it was stopped.
Ibarra-Morales got his sentence on August 2, Friday.
