MIAMI – Police say a guy was arrested in a residential area of Miami Beach on Friday afternoon after being seen with a gun outside the balcony of his condo unit.
A police spokesperson for Miami Beach said that around 4 p.m., neighbors called them several times to report a man pointing a gun at other homes and people walking by near 1200 West Avenue.
A lot of cops were there, including at least one SWAT team.
The guy has not been named by the police, but they have said that there is no longer a threat to the public.
Police say a crisis team looked at the case and decided that the man would probably be Baker Acted or put in jail for a short time so that his mental health could be checked out.
A man in a white tank top was handcuffed and put in the back of a police car. Cameras caught the whole thing.
